The Resilient City

After careful consideration and in consultation with Rice’s Crisis Management Team and RDA’s leadership about the health and safety of all involved, Rice Design Alliance has decided to cancel the Gala 2022: The Resilient City, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 29. Due to planning and staffing challenges resulting from the recent surge in COVID-19 cases, RDA regrettably is unable to move forward with the event.
RDA extends its sincere gratitude to Gala Chairs Scott and Judy Nyquist for their leadership and all of the event supporters for their generosity and understanding as the organization navigates these extraordinary circumstances. RDA staff will be in touch with table and ticket buyers about options for their commitments.
RDA’s annual Gala is Houston’s premier design event, celebrating leaders in the architecture, cultural, engineering, design, and construction communities. Event proceeds directly support RDA’s educational mission. As the public programs and outreach arm for Rice Architecture for almost 50 years, RDA continues to educate, connect, and bring awareness to pressing urban and design issues facing the built environment in Houston and globally.
