Congratulations to Rice Design Alliance Programs Committee member Daimian Hines of Hines Architecture + Design. He along with his collaborators Christopher Bent, Gregory Lake, and Evan Williams of Design Collaborative Architects and Town Planners, has won the international competition to design the new Houses of Parliament in Kingston, Jamaica. Their proposal, “Out of Many One People”, was also selected as the People’s Choice Winner out of 23 other teams including Adjaye Associates and Form Architects, among others. Congratulations Daimian!
